In a central location on the hills of the northern Italian town of Brunate, the lovely independent liberty house "Il Nido" welcomes you. The romantically furnished house in the town center consists of a living room with sofa bed, a well-equipped kitchen, a bedroom as well as a bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), air conditioning in the living room, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a washing machine and a high chair. A small private garden with seating area is also part of the vacation home. Here you can relax or enjoy the view of the greenery while having a coffee in the morning. The area is ideal for hiking, biking and fishing, for example around Lake Como, 3km away. You can reach the famous Faro Voltiano lighthouse in just over half an hour on foot (1.5km). The Funicolare Brunate cable car station, from which you can reach Como in 7 minutes, is just a 5-minute walk (300m) from the accommodation. There are also a handful of restaurants in the village, which can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. The nearest supermarket is in Como, 2.5km away, and can be reached in 11 minutes by car. Milan Linate Airport is 27km from the property. For your car there is a garage at your disposal. Pets are not allowed. The tourist tax is €1 per person/night (for adults over 15 years) for the first 15 nights. Parties are not allowed. Please avoid noise from 10pm-8am and keep the front gate closed. Upon arrival, an identification document will be requested from each guest to comply with the Italian Public Security Law. A baby crib is available for €15 per stay. Between October and May, the heating is to be paid for in person, 10 euros per day. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.

Between October and May, the heating is available for an extra fee. Milan is at 40km. Nearest airports: Malpensa, Linate, Orio al Serio. The apartment is easily attainable and not too far from means of public transport: Brunate and Como are connected by the street (5 km) or by funicular (it works the whole year, with runs every 30 minutes or also more frequent, from 6:00am to 10:30pm, on Saturday from 6:00am to 12:00pm; during the summer period, prolongation of the service always up to the 12:00pm). For the bikers: it is possible to load bicycles on the funicular. To 400m from the station of the funicular of Como the terminal of the Trenord railway Como-Milan, which is connected also the train railway of Malpensa. At 1,5km always from the station of the funicular of Como there is the railway station FFSS, that connects Como with the whole national and international railway line.
